Obituary of Wayne Miller
Miller John “Wayne”
At the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, November 28, 2020. Wayne was in his 80th. yr. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn (nee) Byrne (2015). Fondly remembered by step-son David Byrne (Sandra). Son of the late Arthur Miller and Grace (nee) Campbell. Survived by brothers Arthur, Allan and Daryl. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Lovingly remembered by his very dear friend and companion Pam Lewis. Missed by his long time trusted close friend and neighbour Derek Bond. Wayne worked for many years at Weston’s, Cascade-Hartman and Lockwood Manufacturing. A fanatic that loved all sports and was an avid car enthusiast, attending many car shows and races, and keeping records of it all. He collected all models of antique and racing cars. He loved to tell stories of days gone by and the different people he met and befriended along the way. If he met you and talked to you he was your friend. His true passion was music and with his huge collection of Good Old Rock and Roll and country he would joyfully entertain the staff and residents, at Amber Lea Place. We’d like to thank the staff especially Keith and Ruby at Amber Lea Place as well as the Nurses and Doctors at the Brantford General Hospital. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. A private interment will take place at Mt. Hope cemetery in the spring of 2021.
