Virginia Lewis
1939-2020
Virginia Lea Lewis, 81, of Salisbury and formerly
of Colpitts Settlement passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at the
Moncton Hospital.
Born in Little River, she was the daughter of the
late Nelson and Ada (Hopper) Douthwright. Virginia was retired from
housekeeping at the Moncton Hospital. She was a member of the Royal
Canadian Legion Branch 31 Salisbury, an avid crib player and she loved
camping and family get togethers.
She is survived by her sister Dorothy Morrisey of
Salisbury; brothers Robert Douthwright of Niagra Falls, ON and Richard
Douthwright (Eva) of Kenora, ON and several nieces and
nephews. Predeceased by her husband Reginald; brothers
Harold, Orville, Fred and Reginald Davis, Owen and Gordon Douthwright
and sisters Greta and Verna Douthwright.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106
(372-4800) visiting will be Sunday, December 13 from 1 to 2
pm. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, masks are mandatory,
physical distancing will be respected and capacity may be limited.
There will be a private family service with Pastor Rodney Blyth
officiating. Interment to follow at Middle Cemetery.

Moncton Hospital would be appreciated.
