PELLETIER VIOLET M. – At the Charlotte County Hospital, on Friday,October 23rd,2020; Violet Marie (Beaulieu) Pelletier passed peacefully.Born in Drummond Hill, NB, she is the daughter of the late Albert & Eva
Louise (Levesque) Beaulieu.
Violet worked for over 33 years as a seamstress. She worked in many other jobs over the years as well, such as The Ames Store in Calais. Violet was a Christian, and her deep faith sustained her throughout her life. She
always kept her loved ones, near and far, in her prayers.
Violet loved bowling and dancing, enjoyed gambling with her sister Mae,and was a member of the Red Hat Society in Florida. She never passed up a margarita.
Violet was a creative woman. She made dresses and clothing for all her kids and grandchildren, ensuring that they could dress appropriately for special events, even when times were lean. She loved painting, and enjoyed being the star pupil in painting classes at Lonicera. She took great pleasure in beautiful things, including jewellery, flowers, and plants. Anyone who ever played cards with Violet is familiar with her sharp sense
of humour. She taught the entire family to play games, and our group passion for cribbage and Tock is evidence of that.
Violet is survived by her children Sheila Brooks (Brian) of St. Stephen, NB, Louis Pelletier of Maine, Peter Pelletier of Connecticut, David Pelletier (Anne) of Oklahoma, Michelle Peterson (Andy) of Florida, 14 grand – children, 14 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, her sister, Rose Mae Paquin of South Carolina, and her brother John Gagnon (Ajax, Ontario) as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Violet was predeceased by her son Mario, her ex-husband, Edgar Pelletier, her sister, Bertille Beaulieu, and her brothers, Bertain, Enoil, Gerard and Leonide Beaulieu.
Our large and happy family owe a debt of gratitude to Violet for her loyalty and devotion to us.
Due to the current situation presented by the pandemic there will be no visitation. Cremation will take place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care & direction of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St.
