Terry Diane Haley
Terry Diane Haley of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away with her family by her bedside on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at the age of 67 years, after a brief stay in Prairie Lake Hospice in Grande Prairie.
Terry Diane Haley (nee Woods) was born to Floyd and Betty Woods in Empress, AB, on September 4, 1952.
Terry was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be profoundly missed, remembered and cherished for her generosity, kindness and courage. She will forever leave a warm impression on her dearest family and friends for her caring nature and her thoughtfulness, her love of animals, gardening and flowers, and how she loved to keep an immaculate home and yard.
Terry is survived by her husband George Haley of 50 years; son Les (Margaret) and grandchildren Grace & Carter; son Brian (Renee) and grandchildren Mikayla, Mackenzie, and Quinn; daughter Michelle and granddaughter Hunter; mother Betty Woods; sister Sheryl (Maurice); brothers Darryl and Brent (Jen); sister in-law Joan (Terry) Harbaruk; brother in-law Scott Sheets; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Terry was predeceased by her dad Floyd Woods, sister Carol Sheets, nephew Kyle Sheets and brother and sister in-law Roger and Betty Rymhs.
No funeral service will be held at Terry’s request. Cremation by Oliver’s Funeral Home.
If anyone would like to make a memorial donation in Terry’s honour, Terry’s family requests that donations go to the Grande Prairie Palliative Care Society (#204, 10134 97 Ave., Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 7X6) or In The Woods Animal Rescue (PO Box 134, Nampa, AB, T0H 2R0).
