TRUDEL, RODNEY STUART ALLAN ‘Stu’
October 12, 1935-April 5, 2020
Stu passed away peacefully at home after a brave battle with cancer. Dear husband and best friend of Meralyn (Lowe). Loving father of Lee (Lucie), Tracy and the late Tim (Colleen). Proud grandfather of Jordan (Caitlin), Paul and Ryan. Great-grandfather of Ellie. Son of the late Albert and Annie Trudel. Predeceased by sister Norma and brother Desmond. Fond uncle of Kenneth (Roberta) and the late Robert Trudel. Former teacher and technical director with the Ottawa Board of Education. Stu was a jack of all trades and master of most. A former member of the motorsports club of Ottawa, Stu enjoyed racing stock cars, his Mini Cooper S on road and ice tracks and open wheel cars. He enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, scuba diving and spending time at the cottage with family and friends. He will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. At Stu’s request there will be no public services at this time. Private graveside ceremony will take place at a later date. If desired memorial donations made to Carefor Ottawa, 760 Belfast Rd.
