Stephen Comerford
April 28, 1942 – October 19, 2020
Passed peacefully away in the presence of his devoted wife Mary Frances after a long and courageous battie with cancer, Stephen John Comerford, Riverhead, S.M.B., aged 78 years. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Anna Comerford (nee Fagan), brother Gerry Comerford and sister-in-law Joyce Comerford. Leaving to mourn his wife Mary Frances Comerford; brothers Pat and his wife Agnes and Jim and his partner Mary; sister-in-law Rachael Comerford; daughters: Rose, Anna and Stephanie; sons: Gary and Kieth;special niece Jackie Fagan; special friends Alex and Eileen Kielly; and members of the Fagan and Comerford families. Our thanks go out to all the medical staff that attended Steve over the past few years, especially the staff at the Pallative care unit for their care and compassion. Special thanks to Derry Lee for his tireless support of Steve and Mary in their time of need. A private burial service will be held at a later date. In view of Covid-19 protocols attendance will be by invitation.
