Peacefully at Whisperwood
Villa on Monday, October 12, 2020 the death occurred of Stella
Florence Dunphy (Campbell) of Charlottetown, formerly of Peakes, age
88 years.
Loving mother of Colleen
MacDougall (Peter), Shawn Dunphy and Janet Laton (Brent).
Cherished grandmother of Jilliane (Greg), Jocelyn (Brad), Luke
(Mandy), Elijah, Noah, Emma, Hannah, Maggie and Kate.
Great-grandmother of Matthan, Eden, Brayden, Ryder, Myana, Austyn,
Addison, Maizy, Calvin and Lyla. Dear sister of
Mary Kempton and Hazel
Wilcox. Stella will be
missed by sisters-in-law Carol Campbell, Joyce Campbell, Helane
Campbell, Celine Campbell, Phyllis Dunphy and Cecilia Dunphy,
brothers-in-law Phillip Fogarty, Tom Dunphy (Marion) and St. Clair
Dunphy, and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Predeceased by her parents James and Loretta (Rice) Campbell, husband
John Joseph Dunphy, siblings Regis, John,
Gerald, Alvin, Clem, Merlin, Stanley and Jean, sisters-in-law Anne
Campbell, Sr. Janet Dunphy, Mary Dunphy and brothers-in-law Amos
Dunphy, Fr. Peter Dunphy, Brendan Dunphy, Robert Kempton and Bob
Wilcox.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral
Home, Stratford. Due to current restrictions a private
family visitation and funeral service will be held.
Interment will take place at St. Cuthbert’s Parish Cemetery, St.
Teresa PE.
Memorial donations may be
made to St. Cuthbert’s Church and Cemetery or the Canadian Cancer
Society–PEI.
Special thanks to the staff at
Whisperwood Villa who have taken such wonderful care of Stella through
the years.
