Stacey Ann Jones Duggan Thursday November 5th 2020

Jones, Stacey Ann (nee Duggan)
After a short battle with Leukemia, Stacey Ann Jones (Duggan) died peacefully on November 5th with her loving husband, Billy, by her side. Stacey was born in Brampton on January 17th, 1977 as a ‘birthday gift’ to her mother, Gail Duggan (nee Yeo) who shared the same birthdate. She grew up to share her mothers’ love of volleyball, skiing and horses. Stacey attended Ryerson University for Business and Technology, and then moved on to working in the family businesses, at Prior Resource Group, Armor Personnel and finally as Chief Operating Officer at The Staffing Edge. She continued on as President, Global Staffing once The Staffing Edge was sold two years ago to US firm, People 2.0. She was instrumental in bringing both business together, and loved to share her knowledge of the staffing industry and HR to all her clients and colleagues. She was a beloved mentor and genuine leader to all her employees and clients.
In her free time, she loved to spend time with her husband Billy, married 17 years this past September, and 3 girls, Kaitee (14), Kendal (12) and Kinzie (11). They could be found traveling together (most recently to Hawaii), skiing together every weekend at Mansfield, and on trips out to Whistler and other resorts, and boating or horseback riding through cottage country and beyond, in the summer.
She was an involved member of the YPO, as well as the Brampton Board of Trade and the PRCOA and Team Managers of racing programs at Mansfield.
Stacey loved life to the fullest and was always ready with a quick smile, a good conversation, and a welcoming nature to all her friends and family.
She will be terribly missed by her extended family, father Louis Duggan (Susan Marlow), sisters Andrea Clendenning (nee Duggan, Geoff, Ian & Conor), Shannon Dowdall (nee Duggan, Jamie, Pierce & Abigail). She has gone to heaven to be with her mother, Gail Duggan (nee Yeo).
The family and especially Billy, would like to add a special thanks to Dr. Pasic at PMH for his great care and to all the nurses at Princess Margaret Hospital who continued to care for Stacey, keeping her in good spirits and comforting her in her time of need.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Saturday December 5, 2020 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Donations are encouraged to be made in memory of Stacey at Princess Margaret Hospital: thepmcf.ca/Donate-Now Or to the War Amps – donate.waramps.ca/eforms.aspx?edonate
A tree will be planted in memory of Stacey in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The next annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
