Sidney Bruce MacKeigan Friday December 18th 2020

In Loving Memory of Sid MacKeigan
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sid MacKeigan, peacefully with his family by his side on December 18, 2020 at the age of 65.
Soulmate and loving husband to Cherie , strongest Dad to Elishya and Jeff Miscio, very proud Grandpa to Owen MacKeigan and Nathan Miscio. Brother to Margaret MacKeigan, (pre deceased by Melinda). Uncle to Rod Dobbs , Jeremy and Justin Nesbitt, (pre deceased by Trevor MacKeigan).
He will also be missed by many of his friends and will miss telling their “trucking stories” to him. He was a light in this world and now we need to continue to shine his light within our own lives. No one loved life more than him, from old cars, driving transport, scuba diving, karate to telling old stories and making people laugh with his jokes and sense of humour.
Sid, you are my strength, my rock, my everything, love your honeybun.
Your strength and courage will always be admired Dad, you are my hero, love your rosebud
Cremation has taken place as per his request. A celebration of life will be held at the St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Minden at a later date.
Donations to St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Minden, to a Humane Society or to a local charity of your choice would be appreciated by Sid and Family and can be arranged through the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., P.O. Box 427, Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0.
