In Loving Memory of
Shirley Mae Mishibinijima (Simon)
August 29, 1947 – April 28, 2020
A resident of Wikwemikong passed away peacefully
at the Manitoulin Health Centre on Tuesday,
at the age of 72.
Beloved daughter of the late Victoria (nee. Wassegijig) and Ignatius Mishibinijima (Simon).
Shirley was loved and cherished by her children
Junior (friend Ramona), Cheryl (friend Stuart),
Eugene (wife Carrie).
and her grandchildren
Patricia, Christina, Marianna, Dakota Rae, Abrielle-Lynn,
Isaac (predeceased), Alexander, Bradley, Joe-Rain
and Grayson.
She will be missed by her siblings
Lina, Moses (predeceased), Thomas (Lucy), Henry,
Irene (predeceased), Chi-ten, James (Jean),
Raymond (predeceased), Malcolm (Linda predeceased),
Stella (predeceased), Catherine (predeceased), and Mark.
Sadly missed by best friend Jean Flamand
She will be missed by her great grandchildren,
many nieces, nephews and friends.
Shirley loved her quill work and birch bark crafts.
She also loved doing her quilts. She loved getting together with her friends and family.
Cremation has taken place.
Family will have a memorial service at a later date.
