Peacefully, at home, on Sunday, May 31, 2020, in her eighty-eighth year. Devoted wife of the late Louis Cherry. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Carolyn and Bob McNally, Arlene and Perry Medicoff, Susan and Marvin Reiskind. Loving Bubbie of Jeffrey and Amy McNally, Alex McNally; Laura Medicoff; Jared, and Samantha Reiskind. Proud great-grandmother of nine. Daughter of the late Zussman and the late Alice Boxer. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Irving and the late Reva Boxer, and the late Joseph Boxer; and sister-in-law of Pearl and the late Hymie Katzman, Harry and Francine Cherry, the late Ruby and the late Ethel Cherry, the late Julius and the late Nora Cherry. Shirley will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, family, and friends. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Sunrise Residence for their exceptional care and compassion.
