It is with broken hearts that the family of the late SHARON A. EDWARDS of Lord’s Cove announces her passing. Sharon passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 at the age of 68. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her daughters, Tammy Siegfriedt (Jean-Pascal) of Bay Roberts and Shelley Slaney (Mark) of Calgary, AB; 6 grandchildren, Cassandra, Patrick, Lisa, Malorie, Emily and Julie; brothers, Jim Fitzpatrick, Kevin Fitzpatrick Gabriel Fitzpatrick and Charles Fitzpatrick; sisters, Jeananne Fitzpatrick, Maureen Murphy (Russell) and Maxine Parsons (Kevin); brother-in-law, Jerome Lockyer; sister-in-law, Agatha Fitzpatrick; plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Sharon is predeceased by her husband Aloysius Edwards; parents, Sylvester & Vera Ann Fitzpatrick; sister, Katherine Lockyer; and brothers, Alfred Fitzpatrick and Sylvester Fitzpatrick.
The Edwards Family will accept visitors at Peninsula Funeral Homes in Creston South. In order to maintain social distancing and to follow the public health advisory of COVID 19, a walk through visitation will take place on Saturday, October 17th, 2020 from 7pm – 9pm; and on Sunday, October 18th from 11am – 1pm and 3pm – 6pm. A maximum of 20 people at any one time permitted.
Due to limited capacity because of the COVID–19 restrictions, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, St. Lawrence on Monday, October 19th, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Mount Cecilia Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Lawrence.
In Sharon’s memory in-lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Edwards Family.
