Shanon’s Obituary
Shanon Lynn Kefford passed away peacefully at Riverbend Crossing in Regina, on Sunday, January 12, 2020, at the age of 59. Shanon was born in Moose Jaw and grew up on the family farm west of Briercrest, SK. She attended school in Briercrest and attended STI (SIAST) in Moose Jaw, obtaining diplomas in Business Admin (1984) and Marketing (1993). She then was employed at SIAST in Marketing and Student Recruitment until her retirement in 2010. Shanon loved horses and all animals. She enjoyed scrapbooking, gardening and reading, but most of all enjoyed being with her family, celebrating birthdays and anniversaries, organizing picnics and other family events. Shanon was predeceased by her mother, Delvina Brownlee; and her nephew, Andrew Kefford. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, George Kefford; her father, Keith Brownlee; her brothers, Rod (Holly) Brownlee, and Scott (Gail) Brownlee; her brother in law, Brian (Susan) Kefford; as well as aunts, uncles, nephews and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff at Riverbend Crossing for their kindness, love and care while watching over Shanon for the past 5 years. At Shanon’s request a Private Graveside Service for immediate family will be held. Rev. Linda Tomlinson-Seebach will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Shanon may be made to the Moose Jaw Health Foundation (55 Diefenbaker Drive, Moose Jaw, SK S6J 0C2) or the Moose Jaw Humaine Society (PO Box 1658, Moose Jaw, SK S6J 7K7).
