Obituary of Sean Michael Papineau
After a valiant battle our beloved Dad, Son, Partner, Brother and Uncle passed away at the age of 48 at the Ottawa General Hospital on Tuesday September 22, 2020. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Megan (Jenna), Julie (Tyler), Kaitlyn (Justin) and their mother Janice. Beloved son of Jill Whitford and Gilbert Papineau (Marlyn Leclaire). Sean will be forever remembered and loved by his life partner Janis Tompkins, her sons Aiden and Noah, sisters Mitch Reinhart (Scott Yemen), Jacqueline Fenez, Angel- Lynn Desautels (Roger),his brother Jamie (Angie) and his nieces and nephews. Sean was expecting his first grandchild in January 2021 and he was looking so forward to it. He was predeceased by his favorite brother in law Joe De Leuuw.
A Service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date. Donations in Sean’s memory may be made to Canadian Blood Services.

  1. Sean was a hard worker. More so, Sean deeply valued his friendships with all his co workers and many friends.

    At work or away Sean always injected humor into any situation. Sean kept everyone smiling, or in fits of uncontrollable laughter.

    Sean’s motto was work hard and play hard.

    Sean will be truly missed. Sean was one of the “good guys” and will always be remembered.
