Sarah Shirley Manzer Monday June 29th 2020

Manzer, Sarah “Shirley” formerly of South Ohio passed away June 29, 2020. Born July 14, 1926 in Weymouth, Digby County, she was a daughter of the late Caird and Minnie (Parker) Nicholl and the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Scott of 59 years; brother, Ray and sister, Muriel. Surviving are sons, Alan (Ruth) Bridgewater; John (Audrey) Bridgewater; and daughter, Joan (David) Deveau, Lake George; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Family flowers only, please. Donations her memory may be made to the Yarmouth Food Bank or charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. There will be no visitation by her request. A funeral service will be held Sunday, July 5, 2020, at 1 P.M. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. A.D. “Bill” Newell. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we have limited seating in our chapel. Family and close friends will be given priority for seats. The family wishes to thank Shelly and her staff at Treasured Memories for the wonderful and compassionate care provided to Mom.
