Ruth Carew 2020

Ruth Carew
November 06, 1933 – May 29, 2020

It is with great pain and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Ruth (O’Neil) Carew. Predeceased by her husband Nick Carew; parents Daniel and Violet O’Neil; her sisters Agnes Finn and Louise Sullivan; brother Danny O’Neil; and brother-in-law John Carew.
Leaving to mourn her son Nick Carew (Janet); daughter Anne Marie Mikhailyuk (Yuri); grandchildren Robbie (Carolyn), Kelly, Emma and Jenny (Pat); and great-grandchildren Ryan, Hunter and Aaron (who she cherished dearly).
Also leaving to mourn her sister and best friend Rita (Ed) Walsh.
Ruth is also leaving behind brothers-in-law Joe, Danny and Pat; sisters-in-law Anne, Sheila and Eleanor; as well as a number of beloved nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
A special thanks to the angels who watched over her daily, Christine, Amanda and Yvonne.
Ruth will always be remembered as a kind-hearted and gentle woman, with a great zest for life. Her smile will resonate in our memories forever.
Due to the current COVID-19 circumstances, there will not be a public funeral or visitation. A celebration of Ruth’s life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of one’s choice.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Ruth Carew 2020..
