Ruth Alberta Gulliver
Ruth Alberta Gulliver, 94, of
Moncton, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont
University Hospital Centre on Wednesday, May 27,
2020.
Born in Rockville, she was the
youngest daughter of the late Burton and Bertha (Morrow)
Gulliver.
Ruth was a retired secretary
with Atlantic Underground Services with 23 years’ service.
She was a member of St. George’s Anglican Church and former
member of the Hon. Dr. C.H. Blakeney I.O.D.E. and former volunteer
with the Moncton Red Cross.
Ruth was the last surviving
member of her immediate family. She will be sadly missed by several
nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents,
she was predeceased by brothers, Harold and Glendon (late Ollie Price)
Gulliver and sisters, Eloise Howe (late Charles) and Jean Crawford
(late Bud (Norville)); niece, Elizabeth “Betty” Snowdon and
nephew, Stephen Howe.
A Service to celebrate and
honour Ruth’s life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home
Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) for immediate family
and close friends, due to the current COVID-19 restrictions. Interment
will be held at Fair Haven Memorial
Gardens.
In memory of Ruth, donations
to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital, the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont
University Hospital Foundation (Dialysis Unit) or memorial of the
donor’s choice would be
appreciated.
