Obituary of Ronald Harry Rewitz
It is with great sadness and all the love that we say so long to Ronald Harry Rewitz. After a two year battle with cancer, Ron passed peacefully in the comfort of his home with his beloved dog Pogo on Friday morning, December 18th. Predeceased by his mother Clara Rewitz and sister Janet Rewitz. Ron is survived by his partner Michael Killip; sister Gail Poissant (nee Rewitz); brother Richard Rewitz; nieces Christine Taylor and Jennifer Smith; nephew Jeff Coles; and great-nieces Rachael Smith, Meghan Smith and Ashley Taylor.
Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 6-8 p.m.
Visitation at McKINLAY FUNERAL HOME, 141 Park St., BLENHEIM (519-676-3451), on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 from 1-2 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 2 p.m. followed by Interment at Craford Cemetery.
In accordance with provincial regulations, there is a limit to the number of visitors who may attend at one time. Please RSVP in advance at www.smithsfh.com. If you are having difficulty with the online RSVP, please call the Funeral Home between 9a.m. – 5 p.m. All visitors are asked to wear a face mask and are to remain in their cars until their allotted time.
As an expression of sympathy, donations made to The Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated.
