Romona’s Obituary
PEARL, Romona Myrtle ~ age 87 of Margaretsville, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at home. Born in Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Daisy (Lee) Garnett. Romona loved playing bingo, doing arts and crafts and gardening. Romona is survived by her son, Michael Pearl; daughter, Crystal (Kenneth) Hodgins; sister Jeanette Dyksterhuis; brother, Leslie “Sonny” Garrett; niece, Vicky-Lynn Tilli; nephews, Daniel Dupuis; Terrence Dupuis; Scott Dyksterhuis and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Romona was predeceased by sisters, Thelma and Marguerite; brothers, Charles, Jimmy, Johnny, Bobby and Donnie; and brother-in-law Nicholas Dyksterhuis. In keeping with Romona’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held in North Kingston Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
