Obituary of Robert “Bob” Hilyer
With sadness the family announces that Bob passed away at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Monday evening, December 28, 2020 following a brief illness. He was 93. Beloved lifelong companion of Bernadette Lunney. Dear father of Paul Hilyer (Ingrid) of Port Perry, ON and Lesley Anne Farrell (late Brian) of Mexico. Cherished grandfather of Graham Hilyer. Dear brother of John Hilyer (Joyce) of England. Son of the late Clement and Florence (nee Turner) Hilyer. Fondly remembered by the Lunney family. A trusted smile. A brilliant mind. A caring soul. Bob will be missed. His final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. A service to honour and celebrate Bob will take place at a later date to be announced. In memory, please consider a donation to The Salvation Army.
