Obituary
Robert Matthews, also know fondly as Bob M, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Langley, BC, May 22, 2020. Born to parents Gilbert and Dorthy Matthews in Semans, Saskatchewan, whom predeceased him, along with his sisters Mary and Jean and brothers Glen and Murray. He is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Hazel Stricker, Marjorie Marshall, Doreen McKechnie and brother Billy, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Bob will be dearly missed by his loving wife Lois Matthews, step children Michelle Addison, Geoff and Leanne Proteau, and grandchildren Ashton and Tia Addison, and Jodan and Deneal Proteau. Forever in our Hearts, fondly remembered. Bob’s service in life was immense and far reaching. His contributions and his deep feeling of gratitude were in constant service to others throughout his life. Bob M. trudged the road of happy destiny from May 5, 1970 until his passing on May 22, 2020. Rest in Peace Dear Bob, we will all surely miss you! A private family celebration of Bob’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday June 5, 2020 at Everden Rust Funeral Services in Kelowna with Pam Moss officiating.
