Rita Power
1933-2020
As was her wish, Mom passed peacefully away at her home in
Branch on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at the age of 86
years.
She is predeceased by her husband Dave, daughter Brenda, sons
David and Donnie, and grandchildren Brenda and Mary
Katheryn.
She leaves to mourn her children Roseanne (Harry-deceased),
Wayne (Mary), Jerome (Yvonne), Howard, Sheena Mills (Neil), and
Melissa Linehan (Cory); grandchildren Vicki, Matthew, Justin,
Elizabeth, Charlie, James, Simon, Patrick, Meghan, Amy, Daniel, Katie,
Brittany, Cole, Jack and their families; siblings Walter (Doreen), Eva
(Leo), Cecilia (Willie), Margie (Ralph), Jeanette (Terry), Lizze, Mary
and Billy (Judy).
The family would like to express their appreciation to her
dear friends, neighbours and care givers, whose kind assistance
allowed her to continue to live independently in her own home, which
was very important to her.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher’s Funeral
Home, Placentia. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Public Health Emergency,
a private family visitation and funeral service will take place.
