Obituary for Rene Janssens
Rene Arthur Janssens, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully in Wallaceburg on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at the age of 92. Rene is the son of the late Charles Louis & Clothelde (Van Dorsselaer) Janssens. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (nee Clark). Loving father of Scott (Jacqueline), Stephen (Lynne) and Shawn (Diane). Dear grandfather of Corey, Carley, Hannah and Sarah. Brother of Joe Janssens (Helen), Madeline Debergh (late Henry) and the late Mary McGuire (late James). Brother-in-law of Ruth Wellman and Lavonne Beyer. Rene was a supervisor at Accurcast Aluminum Die Casting before retiring and helping with maintenance at the funeral home for many years. He was also a member of Port Lambton United Church. The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 12:45 – 1:15 on Thursday. A private family service with interment in Riverview Cemetery will follow.
