Obituary for Phyllis Larabee
Phyllis Rae Larabee, nee Baker and Black, passed away at her home on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the age of 89. Phyllis was the daughter of the late Dora and William (Barry) Baker. Wife of Kenneth Larabee and the late Donald Black. Beloved mother of Doug Black (Sue) and Jeff Black (Jenn). Dear grandmother of Matt Durance, Michelle Kloostra (Ryan) and Elizabeth Horton and great grandmother of Tanner, Dylan, Addison and Katelyn. Sister of Alberta Moore and the late Jim, John, Newt, Frank, Hazel, Rose and Martha. Born in Linton, Indiana, Phyllis moved to Canada from Port Huron, Michigan in 1952 to marry her husband Donald. Phyllis was a sweet lady who was loved by everyone. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Wallaceburg. Friends may visit at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Saturday, January 2 from 1-4 PM. A private family service will follow with burial in Riverview Cemetery.
