Pauline’s Obituary
SCHOFIELD, Pauline Bernice ~ age 88 of Meadowvale, NS passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 in Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Berwick, NS she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Minnie (Hall) Silver. Pauline worked for many years as a Sales Associate at the The Metropolitan Store and was an avid bingo player. She loved riding horses and her favourite horse was named “Star”. Pauline enjoyed baseball and cheering on her favourite team the Toronto Blue Jays. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pauline will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, David (Leona) Arenburg, Kentville; Bradford (Gail) Schofield, Melvern Square; Deborah Ann Roussell, Montreal; Brian (Lynne) Schofield, Nictaux; Ronald Schofield (Sally Johnson), Gimli, Manitoba; Blair (Debbie) Schofield, Thunder Bay, Ontario; her brother, Wayne (Donna) Silver, Rockland; her grandchildren, Leroy Arenburg (Dianna), Morristown; Jay (Cheryl) Schofield, Chilliwack, BC; Chad (Julia) Schofield, London, ON; Michael Dugal, Montreal; Jonathan Dracondiatis; Greece; Ben (Graham) Schofield, Winnipeg; Brianna Schofield (Grant), Winnipeg; Brandon (Erin) Schofield, Winnipeg; Kayla “Brinley” (Ted) Jessop, Thunder Bay, ON; Brittany (Joe) Bis, Brickton and numerous great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Bruce; daughter Gail Dracondiatis; brother Arnold and sisters Evelyn Hartling, Helen Gee and Geraldine MacDougall. Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration will be held at a later date when everyone can be together. Donations in Pauline’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada. A deep and heartfelt thank you to the emergency department of Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital and Dr. Amanda Smith for their unending compassion and dedication to their craft.
