Obituary
It is with sadness the family of Paul Milan Vrana announce his passing on February 1, 2020 at the Rosetown & District Health Centre at the age of 90 years.
Paul was born on August 23, 1929 in Rosetown as an only child to Michael and Elizabeth Vrana. Paul spent his entire life in the Rosetown area. He was an active farmer in Valley Centre Area until he retired in 1994. Paul enjoyed the simple things of life – he loved watching baseball, curling and numerous game shows. After retiring, he was an active pool shark and spent many years visiting at the local pool hall. Paul and Ruby also spent numerous winters in Mesa Arizona enjoying the sunshine and warmer weather. Paul often took friends to Saskatoon for Doctor’s appointments as he enjoyed driving. He also accompanied Ruby to craft shows all over Saskatchewan while she was an active crafter.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Ruby Vrana, step-children Jan Healey, Sharon (Ken) Hodgson, Glen (Zorka) Scrimshaw and Lynn (Kim) Scrimshaw, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Michael (Mike) and Elizabeth Vrana as well as numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and son-in-law Jim Healey.
As per Paul’s request, no services will be held. Memorial donations may be made to Orange Memories Care Home, P.O. Box 1900, Rosetown, SK, S0L 2V0.
