Paul-Emile Robichaud
1935-2020
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Paul-Emile Robichaud 85,
of Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at the
Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Wednesday,
November 4, 2020. Born in Pont-du-Milieu, he was the son of
the late Francis D. Robichaud and late Elodie (Daigle)
Robichaud.
Paul-Emile was a devout, thoughtful and loving husband,
father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be remembered as a
humble, warm-hearted, gentle soul by all who knew him. A farmer and
truck driver, among others, Paul-Emile worked tirelessly until the
remarkable age of 83 when his illness forced him to take a leave – he
remained eager to return one
day.
Paul-Emile will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 62
years, Geneva (Bordage) Robichaud of Saint-Louis-de-Kent; one
daughter, Alma Comeau (Daniel) of Richibucto; three sons, Bernard
Robichaud (Marie) of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, Robert Robichaud (Leanne) of
High River, AB, Ronald Robichaud (Marie-Paul) of Saint-Louis-de-Kent;
eleven grandchildren and ten great
grandchildren.
He is also survived by one sister, Antoinette Michaud (late
Nil) of Saint-Basile; one brother, Valmond Robichaud (Karen) of
Toronto, ON; as well as several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and
many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister,
Imelda, three brothers, Fidèle, Gérald and
Ulysse. Paul-Emile also found great comfort in being reunited with his
late and cherished daughter, Leona.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home in
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Sunday, November 8th
from 7:00-9:00 pm, and Monday, November 9th, at
9:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will
be celebrated on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 11:00 am at
Saint-Louis-des-Français Roman Catholic Church in
Saint-Louis-de-Kent.
The family wishes to express its sincere thanks and gratitude
to the wonderful staff of the Emergency Department at the
Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital for all their kind and compassionate
care.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, attendance at the
funeral will be on invitation only. We thank you for your
understanding.
