Norman George Middleton, 82, of
Petitcodiac passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the Moncton
Hospital. Born in Portage Vale he was a son of the late George and
Mary (Dunfield) Middleton. Norman was a truck driver for over 50
years, many of those with the former Auto-Haulaway. A member of the
Petitcodiac Baptist Church he was a former Stockade Leader, Trustee,
Usher and was instrumental in the establishment of a bus ministry. He
was also a volunteer with The St. John Ambulance and was his
children’s and grandchildren’s biggest fan at
their sporting events.
Survived and sadly missed by his loving wife and
best friend of over 58 years, Wendy O’Blenis; his children, Sharon
MacLeod (Jamie), Kim Middleton (Robert), Tracey Taylor (Heber), Kelly
Phillips (Gary), Todd (Jennifer), Shawna Middleton (Rick); sisters,
Carol Dole, Gloria Olsen (Jack); brothers, Arthur (Carol), Ronnie
(Audrey), Gary (Claudette); fifteen grandchildren; five great
grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his
granddaughter, Natasha Middleton.
A Celebration time for Norman
will be held at The Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106, Salisbury
West (372-4800) on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 2 to 4 p.m. Due to
Covid-19 restrictions, masks are mandatory, social distancing will be
respected and capacity may be limited. A Private family service will
be held. Interment at the Anagance Cemetery.
If desired memorials to Harvest House or the
Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated.
