55 years, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at the Franklin Gardens Long Term Care. Neil was born in Toronto, his deep family roots also make Cape Breton N.S. a welcome home. Dear son of Olive Antle and her late husband Clary Antle (1991), the late Peter Ruelland (1981). Father to Greg Ruelland (Danielle Stratton), Dylan Gore, Samantha Fortune , Jesse Fortune and Joey McPhee. Grandfather to Clarity, Chancellor and Sadie. Dear brother to Ron Ruelland (Melissa Ruelland), Colleen McCann, Maggie Ruelland, William Ruelland. Neil will also be missed by his many Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Peter (1960) and Bernie (2004). Neil will be forever remembered for his love of Country Music, and his desire to travel across Canada. A special thank you is extended to Dr. Moncur and all the staff at Franklin Gardens for their tremendous care. Due to current social restrictions, private cremation arrangements have taken place. Memorial donations to honour Neil’s life can be made to Franklin Gardens Long Term Care and would be appreciated by the family.
