November 22, 1928 – January 2, 2020
Passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2020 with her loving husband of 63 years David, at her side. Myrtle is predeceased by her parents John and Susan Burden, sisters Ellen (the late Stanley Banning), Edith (the late Ronald Roblin), Flora Burden, Kathleen (the late Murray Stewart) and Margaret (Joseph McKlusky). She is survived by sisters Rose (Manfred Hagmann), Patricia (Eric Smith) and Phyllis (Daniel Maxwell). She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Many thanks to the staff at Valley Stream Retirement Residence for the wonderful care Myrtle received over the past year. Friends may visit at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 2340 Baseline Road at 11a.m. Inurnment and reception to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
