Murray Dale Olson, of Walkerton passed away at Chapman House Hospice, Owen Sound on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at the age of 61.
Beloved husband of Cathy (nee Wilhelm). Loving father of Denise (Brandon) Fraser of Chepstow, Ken (Deenie) MacDonald of Lloydminster, AB and Sonja MacDonald of Calgary AB. Cherished grandfather of Mercedes “Sadie”, Nelia, Nevin, Nalen, Danielle, Keiron, Emily and Helaina and great-grandfather of Ryker and Huntley. Dear brother of Gerry (Donna) Olson of Milden, SK, Pat (Wes) Freeden of Dundurn, SK, Susan (Wes) Rumpel of Petawawa, Larry (Shirley) Olson of Drayton Valley, AB and brother-in-law of Joe Woodsworth of Prince Albert, SK. He will be fondly remembered by nephews and nieces as well as the Wilhelm family.
Murray was predeceased by his daughter Stephanie, sister Deb Woodsworth and parents Garfield and Viola (nee Kraley) Olson.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton (519-881-1273). Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at the Walkerton Pentecostal Church by invitation only. A recording of the service will be posted on Murray’s memorial page.
