Obituary
On Tuesday, December 22, 2020 Morley Bengert decided that this Christmas would be spent reuniting with the love of his life, Norma.
Grant Morley Bengert was born in Regina, SK and grew up in Swift Current, SK. He enjoyed the thirty-five years he worked at the Calgary Herald. Morley was a generous man who spent many years volunteering in his community. He had a love for hockey and dedicated many years to the Calgary Canucks as the General Manager.
Morley was always a family man, and his love for his children, Cathy and Heather; his grandchildren, Matthew (Tonia) and Zachary; and his great-grandchildren, Cayden, Jordyn, Wyatt, Rylee, and Fynn only grew as the years went on. He was and always will be the best “Papa.” He will be deeply missed by all of us, but welcomed home by many family and friends.
His heart and soul was longing to be reunited with his love, Norma, and together, they will now be. Always and forever.
A private family service will be held at a later date. In memory of Morley Bengert, donations made to the Swift Current SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
