Obituary of Mildred Ross
Mildred Ross (nee Glimsdale) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 after a brief illness with cancer at the age of 87 years.
Mildred was born and raised in Claresholm, Alberta. She married Donald James Ross of Claresholm on April 20, 1957.
She is survived by her daughter Debra (Barry) Johnston of Calgary; her sons John (Jeanine) Ross of Trout Lake B.C.; Jim (Laura) Ross of Slave Lake AB; and Richard (Theresa) Ross of Gunn, AB; as well as ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mildred is also survived by her brothers, Gordon (Barbs) Glimsdale and Donnie (Myrna) Glimsdale, both from Claresholm, AB; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street NW, (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be a Tea to follow from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Good Companions Club, 2609 19 Avenue SW, Calgary.
