Obituary
Michel Faubert
September 26, 1942 – November 1, 2020
Quietly and with dignity, Michel Roland Gilles Faubert passed away on November 1st, 2020, at the age of 78, surrounded by family in Ottawa, ON. Michel was predeceased by his loving wife, Gisèle, a mere 2 weeks prior. Dearest brother to André (Dolores), Jean-Claude (Pauline), Paulette (Camil Nugent), and Lynne (Albert) Lachapelle. Cherished father of Gilles (Patricia), Denis, Claudette (Al) Wortman, and Diane (Nancy Porteous). Doting Papie to his grandchildren, Dave (Noelle) Cummings, Angelle (Rachel Monfils), Kayla Michaud, Katrina Michaud (Brian Nault), Briana (David) Gick, and James (Maegan) Michaud, and completely awestruck by his great-grandchildren Carolyn Nault, Rosalie Gick, and Norah Michaud.
Dad loved nothing more than helping his family and friends, going up the Abitibi River to his camp, hunting, fishing, and walks around town with his dog. Dad was a strong, curious, mischievous man, not easily deterred by a challenge.
If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society (Timmins District) or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
