Obituary of Michael Henry
Michael Spence Henry – July 10th, 1955 – December 3rd, 2020
It is with a very heavy heart that we are announcing the passing of a truly amazing husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.
Surrounded with the love of his family, Mike passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 3rd, 2020 at the Victoria Hospital in London, at the age of 65.
Michael was the first born child to Dorothy Joan Milley (nee Peardon), of Brampton and the late Gerald Spence Henry.
He is survived by his wife Mary, his children Tyler (Candice), Rachael (Ethan), Ryan, Michelle, Casey (Darryl), Charlie (Ashlyn), Justin and Stephanie. He is leaving behind his four grandchildren Drew, Presley Faye, Iris and Hazel as well as his sister Karen, brother Rick (Beth), aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Mike will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
A Private Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519) 376-7492 on Wednesday, December 9th, 2020 with Mr. David Fries officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends are welcome to view the Service at 11:00 a.m. via livestream by selecting the ‘LIVE STREAMING’ menu option at the top right corner of the funeral home website (woodfuneralhome.ca). The Graveside Service will be livestreamed approximately 15 minutes after the end of the Funeral Service.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home. Online condolences can be sent by visiting Michael’s memorial at www.woodfuneralhome.ca
