Michael A Crawford December 27 2020

Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Michael Adair Crawford which occurred at Bobby’s Hospice on Monday, December 28th, 2020. Born 1950, in Saint John, he was the son of the late Joseph and Hilda (Curry) Crawford. Michael was Foreman of the City of Saint John Water Department for 35 years. He loved motorcycles, trains and camping. He enjoyed spending many summers in Wickham. His favorite thing to say was “Let’s go for a drive, we’ll see where we are going when we get there.” If he spotted a yardsale on the side of the road, he had to stop to see what treasures he could find.
Michael is survived by his loving and devoted wife Marcia (MacDonald) of 27 years; son Corey Crawford of Minto, NB; brother Sandy Crawford (Gloria) of Terrace, BC; his beloved dogs Brody, Seamus and Jagger; as well as nieces, nephews and friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). As per Michael’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Funeral Service will take place in the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Thursday, December 31st at 11 a.m. followed by an interment at Fernhill Cemetery. Due to public health’s pandemic restrictions and to maintain everyone’s safety, capacity is limited during the funeral. We ask that you call and register (646-2424) or RSVP through our online obituary. Donations in memory of Michael may be made to Bobby’s Hospice, SJRH Palliative Care Unit or to the Curly Adams Fund.
