Passed peacefully away at Lakeside Homes, Gander on Tuesday, May 26th, 2020, Mary White, age 87.
Predeceased by her parents Pearce and Ida Blackwood, her first Husband Limuel Gillingham, second husband Leo White, infant son Murdock, brother Eleazer, sister Frances Kennedy, sisters-in-law Maisie and Mae.
Left to mourn with loving memories are her son Ronald (Evelyn) of Marathon, ON; daughters Marina (Hedley Patey) of Gander, Pansy (Austin Handcock) of Aspen Cove, step-daughters Madge Rowe (Dave) of Pasedena, Mona Peddle (Carl) of Corner Brook, brothers Harold of Gander, Robert (Edna) of Gander, Eugene (Melvina) of Carmanville, grandchildren Michael (Rebecca), Amanda, Gary (Candace), great-grandchildren Adler and Lillia, sister-in-law Ruby Sturge, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In light of the current pandemic, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. All services will remain private for immediate family only.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. White’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army Fund, Carmanville.

her journey’s just begun
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days or years.
Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched
for nothing loved is ever lost
and she was loved so much.
