Passed away suddenly at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Martin J. Aspell of Admiral’s Cove, on Saturday, November 21st, 2020 at 71 years of age. Martin was predeceased by his father and mother Robert and Mary Aspell; sisters: Catherine, Anna and Marie, and brother: Robert. Leaving to mourn his loving wife, Bernadette; his three children Mark (Jennifer), Andy (Jennifer) and Amy (Nicholas); his five grandchildren who he loved and adored Heidi, Zachary, Avry, Jake and Oliver; also leaving to mourn his brothers Eddie (Viola), Francis (Shirley) and Randy (Barb); sisters Shirley, Linda (Les), Rosie, Margie (Peter) and Chrissy (Danny), and all their families; his sister-in-laws Joanne (Pat), Catherine (Robert) and Elizabeth (Alec), and their families; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Sincere thanks to Collins Ambulance Services, and the nurses and doctors in the emergency department at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital.
Visitation will take place Monday, November 23rd from 5 to 9pm at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private Mass of Christian burial to take place from Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Cape Broyle on Tuesday, November 24th at 11am. Cremation to take place at a later date with a private celebration of his life and inurnment planned for Spring 2021.
