Mrs. Marjorie Allen “Bunny” Clarke, a resident of Port Lambton, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Fairfield Park, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 101.
Bunny lived along the St. Clair River in Port Lambton with her husband Stu who passed away in 1978.
Loving mother of Bob Clarke of Wallaceburg, Chris (Lori) Clarke of British Columbia and the late Gordon Clarke.
Dear grandmother of Sarah (Jim) of Toronto and great grandmother of Michael, David and Conor of Toronto.
Sadly missed by her daughter in law Colette.
Bunny was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Port Lambton with her grandparents in 1920 after her mother’s sudden death. She lived a full life surrounded by her doting grandparents and her Aunt Dodo. Bunny was very active in the St. James Anglican Church in Port Lambton where she was the main organist. She was a part time librarian with the Port Lambton Library, wrote a short book titled “Bunny Tales” and swam across the St. Clair River.
The late Marjorie Clarke rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Following her wishes, cremation will take place.
