Marjorie Anne Brent
1944-2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of
Marjorie Anne Brent, 75, of Springhill,
NS, on Monday, December 21, 2020. Born in Edmonton, AB, Marjorie was a
daughter of the late Edmund and Mary (Zolmer) Brent.
Following many years as a Nurse, Marjorie retired and moved
to Springhill. Marjorie loved music with a passion. She was an avid
runner, golfer and enjoyed walking everyday. She also enjoyed
painting, volunteering at the All Saints Springhill Hospital and for
the Kidney Foundation, as well as caring for her puppy, Joey. Marjorie
enjoyed time with family and friends and especially the ability to
chat regularly with her beloved children via skype.
Marjorie is predeceased by her mother Mary
(Zolmer) and Father Edmond Brent. She is survived by her loving
companion, Charles James, daughter Heather (Downie) and husband Al
Joe, son Blaine and wife Zulobia Downie; grandchildren Treyton,
Gracie, Michaela, Isaac, Zemirah and Ezra.
Arrangements are under the care and supervision of
A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane
Street, Springhill, NS (902-597-2361). Honouring Marjorie’s wishes,
cremation has taken place and there is to be no services at this
time.
Donations in memory of Marjorie may be made to the Canadian
Kidney Foundation.
