Peacefully at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. Maria Lapointe (née Leonard) of North Lancaster; age 56 years. Beloved wife of Real Menard. Loving mother of Dawson and Evan Lapointe and step-mother of Tyler Menard and Ashley Tessier. Dear sister of Belinda (late Gerard), Norma (Roch), Laura, Fay (Rory) and Cynthia (Ken). Cherished daughter of Norman and Evelyn Leonard (née Taylor). A private family Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria, ON (613-525-2772). As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Maria a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
