1943-2020
Margaret Rose Vaughan – 77, of Greenwich, Kings
County, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 in Shannex –
Blomidon Court, Greenwich. Born in Delhaven, Kings County, she was a
daughter of the late David and Annie (Rogers) Weaver. A loving wife,
mother and grandmother, she enjoyed being a housewife and homemaker.
She was a member of the Greenwich Women’s Association for
several years. Margaret had many artistic talents and applied these
talents to tole painting, cake decorating and carpentry. She is
survived by her husband of 61 years, Avery; two daughters, Lynda
(Mike) Carter, Canning; Angel (Stephen) Pulsifer, Port Williams; a
son, Danny (Mary), Aylesford Lake; three sisters, Sylvia, Brenda and
Darlene; a brother, David (Linda); six grandchildren, Jason, Natasha,
Melynda, Molly, Devin and Katelyn; four great grandchildren. She was
predeceased by two sisters, Heather and Sharon. There will be no
visitation, by request. A family graveside service will be held at
1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2020 in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam
Mill followed by a combined public celebration of life and reception
at 2:00 p.m. in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. The family
would like to thank Dr. Matt Targett, the nurses and all staff at
Blomidon Court – Shannex, Greenwich for their kindness, care
and compassion. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer
Society, the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or the charity of your
choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral
Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
