It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Luigi Dolce on Thursday, December 17th, 2020 at the age of 91. Born on December 8th, 1929 in San Giovanni Incarico, Italy.
A devoted husband of 65 years, Luigi is survived by his beloved wife, Giuseppina Dolce, children Anna and son-in-law Antonio D’Adamo, Tina, and his grandchildren Melinda (Dino), Josie (Tony) and Bianca. He also leaves behind his 3 great-grandchildren Mia, Milano and Ella. He will also be missed by his sisters (in-law), brothers (in-law), nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Luigi Dolce was a very respectful and hard working man, who lived his life whole-heartedly with honour, integrity and dignity. Above all, he adored his family and spending time with them; his pride and devotion knew no bounds. He will be remembered by his passion for gardening, his country place and for the tremendous love and care that he extended to family, friends and anyone else that crossed his path.
A most heartfelt thank you to the Verdun Hospital healthcare staff for their compassion and dedication, especially in these trying times.
In lieu of flowers, you may also make a donation to The Montreal Children’s Hospital- Cardiology Department in honour of Luigi Dolce, a man who loved with his whole heart.
