Lucille’s Obituary
KHATAB, A. Lucille – age 89, Villa St-Joseph du Lac, Dayton, formerly of Darling’s Lake, Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully on Friday, May 29, 2020 in the Villa. Born March 3, 1931 in Woodvale, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Adèle (Saulnier) Deveau. Lucille worked at the Ramada in Toronto for many years, having received awards for her exemplary work ethic and performance. She is survived by sisters, Fran (John) Upton, Yarmouth and Delores LeBlanc, Salmon River, as well as by many nieces and nephews. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Edward, Wilfred, Roger, Emile and Leo Deveau, as well as by sisters, Genevieve Comeau, Isabelle Eisnor and Rose Jacquard. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no memorial service at this time. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
