Linda Marie George
April 26, 1958 – May 20, 2020
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Linda George, of Lamont County on May 20th, 2020, at the age of 62 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 11 years, Jim; children, Kimberly (Mickey) and Jason (Danielle); step children, James (Allison), Kerry and Cole; grandchildren, Adrien, Ilias, Gabriel, Kyrie, Eden, Isla, Autumn, Mason, Zechariah, Naomi, Josh, Christian and Jesslyn; sisters, Firma (Roger), Evangeline (Michael), Bonnie (Sterling); brothers, Simon (Cathy), Seward (Marilyn) and Gerard (Debbie); as well as numerous relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her loving parents, Ambrose and Maud DeCoste; brother, Junior and sister, Barbara.
Linda was born in Nova Scotia and moved to Alberta in the late 70’s, she had a strong love for all her family and friends. Linda was passionate about everything. She loved quilting and knitting, she was known by all for her baking, especially her apple pie. She loved to golf, play darts, bowl and play games with her family whenever she could. Linda loved to travel and spend time at home with her husband and her kitties. No matter what she did she did it to the fullest and at utmost perfection.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, May 29, 2020, at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street NW, Edmonton.
****Connelly-McKinley follows all Alberta Health Services restrictions for funeral services. We are required to social distance people in our facilities. Churches and other venues are now under these same restrictions.
From this day we are governed to only allow 50 guests for services, which includes family and staff members. Please consider the possibility that access to funeral services will be denied once we have reached the 50 person capacity.
