Miller, Lawrence Ray – age 74, of Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on Thursday December 23, 2020 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born August 10, 1946 in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Margorie. During his working years “Ray” as he was known to his friends, worked as a cook aboard one of Comeau Seafoods scallop boats. He was an avid hunter, a member of the Chebogue boat club, enjoyed working in the community garden on Brunswick Street and coffee at McDonalds with his friends. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Margaret; son Stephen; Granddaughter Julia Miller; Great-grandson Ryder Miller; Sisters Patricia Duffy and Florence Pickett as well as brother Larry. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by brothers James and Kenneth; sisters Sharon Forest and Susan Crompton. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth. A funeral mass of life will be held on January 1st, 2021 at 1 P.M. from St Ambrose Co-Cathedral with Father Henry Smolenaars officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Cavalry Cemetery. Donations is memory may be made to the Yarmouth Hospital Foundation.
