On January 3, 2020, Mr. Keith Lapatak of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 64 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Vera; 2 sons & 7 daughters, Sharon (Robin) Quinney, Shannon (Darcy) Cardinal-McGilvery, Heather (Cameron) Omeasoo, Robyn Little Poplar, Cheyenne Omeasoo, Lindsay (Clay) Little Poplar, Shawna Lapatak, Tess Jenkins & Shayne (Janelle) Lapatak; 44 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren; 6 brothers, Clayton Lapatak, Clinton Turning Robe, Leo Wells, Edwin (Candace) Lapatak, Kelvin (Tina) Bird & Orville Bird; 7 sisters, Karen Ward, Audrey Lapatak, Wanda (Robert) Lapatak, Priscilla Lapatak, Patricia (Marlo) Trottier-Schweigert, Bernice Bird & Violet Bird; numerous nieces & nephews. Mr. Lapatak was predeceased by his parents, Albert & Mildred Lapatak; 3 granddaughters, Jordana, Macy & Kayleigh; 2 grandsons, Albert & Robin. A Wake will be held on Wednesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Thursday, January 8 & 9 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Father Philip Mathew & Reverend Robert Wright will be officiating with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
