Lana Diane McCullough 2020

Lana Diane McCullough
September 2, 1977 – April 8, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lana McCullough, beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, on Wednesday, April 8th, 2020 at the age of 42.
Lana is survived by her devoted parents, Charlie and Carolynne McCullough (Carman, MB), her three sisters; Faun Jorgenson and brother-in-law Joey (Kamloops, BC) niece and nephew Hannah and Nicholas; Cindy Weeks and brother-in-law Dwain (Regina, SK) niece and nephew Katie and Brendan; Sheri Miller and brother-in-law Kevin (Brandon, MB) niece and nephews Benjamin, Paige and Reid; her Uncle and Aunt; Jim and Judy Park (Carman, MB); and numerous cousins.
Lana was born on September 2, 1977, the fourth and youngest daughter in the McCullough family. Her early life centered around the family farm southwest of Carman. Growing up, Lana was an active member of the Graysville 4H club and attended the Graysville United Church.
When the McCullough family sold the farm and moved to Carman in 1996, Lana led a very active life, working at Stepping Stone, the Boyne Regional Library, and Diane’s Hair Salon. She participated in a bowling league and The Friendship Group at the Carman Anglican Church. In her spare time, Lana loved being out around town, watching movies, listening to music, and going out to restaurants with her friends. She enjoyed adventures, travelling across Canada to visit family, her yearly week at camp with her friends, and taking several vacations to Florida, Hawaii, and Branson. Lana’s love for music and a great show made Branson one of her favorite destinations.
Lana moved into the Parkview Manor in 2012, and relocated to Brandon, MB in 2018. Lana enjoyed her independence, and the family greatly appreciates all the workers that supported her. A special thank you also goes out to the doctors, nurses, and health care aides at the Brandon Regional Health Centre who cared for Lana in her final days.
Lana will always be remembered for her loving smile, her enthusiasm, her gentle nature, and for giving fantastic hugs.
There will be a celebration of Lana’s life and reception at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in Lana’s name may be sent to the Boyne Regional Library in Carman (Box 788, Carman, MB, R0G 0J0) or to Westman Opportunities Inc. in Brandon (1544-10th St, Brandon, MB, R7A 4H7).

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Lana Diane McCullough 2020..
