MAKOWSKI, Kurt
September 30, 1939 – June 26, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a great man, our Pa and Grandpa. Predeceased by wife Silvia (1981). Loving father to Carrie Chiarenza (Tony), late Quentin (2016) and late Sheldon (1973). Beloved grandpa to Vanessa, Nico, Noah and Nevan. Kurt loved life. He was a marathon runner, soccer player and a long time member of the Teutonia Club. He enjoyed his career as a painter all around the city. Most of all, Kurt cherished his grandchildren.
Visitation to be held at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel), 1700 Tecumseh Rd, Windsor, 519-253-7234, on Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 9-11 a.m. followed by a private family Chapel Service. A public interment at Windsor Memorial Gardens to take place at 12 p.m. To join procession to the cemetery, please arrive at the funeral home at 11:15 a.m. If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
