Kenneth Ralph Dawson
1923 – 2020
Dr. Kenneth Ralph Dawson, a retired Geologist for Energy Mines and Resources Canada, passed away on November 27, 2020 at the Ottawa Grace Manor at the age of 97.
He is the only surviving son of Ida and Seth Dawson of Riverview, NB and was predeceased by his brothers William and Gerald Dawson. Ken was the best friend and beloved husband of the late Etha Louis Dawson. Loving father to Sharon Heidenger (Ken, deceased) and Brenda Beckingham (Gordon). Dear grandfather to Benjamin (Shannon) and Matthew (Sarah) and great grandfather to Ava and Hillary Beckingham.
A special thanks to the staff and care team at the Salvation Army Ottawa Grace Manor and the Pastoral Care Team from the Bromley Road Church.
Due to COVID-19, we will have a private family good-bye for Dad at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, followed by interment at Capital Memorial Gardens.
